As a Veterinary Practice Leader, I've managed practices through growth, challenging markets and periods of real change. I've seen first hand the connection between Practice Performance and hiring and retaining great talent and now I make it my business to help others do the same via two core products; the in depth Business Review and Bespoke Talent Search. My History - I have been a Veterinary Surgeon for over 20 years, working in mixed, equine and small animal practice, first opinion and referral hospitals, both in the UK and overseas as a permanent and locum employee. More recently my time has been spent in small animal practice. In 2009, my husband and I refurbished a retail site and opened a small animal practice, which we sold in 2018 and continues to prosper today. Over the past decade, I have shifted my focus to leadership and practice management, moving from a Clinical Director position to an Area Director role in operations within the veterinary industry. I have led multiple clinical teams through complex change and integration, always with a focus on collaboration, support, and fostering a strong team culture. My passion for creating positive, cohesive environments has been central to my work, alongside the continued pursuit of excellence in veterinary care. As an experienced vet with a strong foundation in both clinical practice, management and the operational aspects of the veterinary industry, I bring a comprehensive and practical perspective to veterinary business consulting. My hands on experience in patient care allows me to understand the day to day realities of practice, while my leadership in operations and team management enables me to identify strategic opportunities for growth, efficiency, and sustainability.
