These guides are intended for use by veterinary students or veterinary surgeons who will perform surgery, or student veterinary nurses and veterinary nurses wanting to better understand the procedures they support. Performing veterinary surgery is regulated under the Veterinary Surgeons Act in the UK. Local regulations on performing surgery must be followed.
